It’s been a long time!
Just realised how long it’s been since i’ve posted. That’s what happens when you get swamped down with uni work.
Have a few weeks break until the next trimester starts. James and I both have the week off next week, and then I have student assembly the week after, before I go back to work.
Went to Doreen on Monday, which was gorgeous. Played Rock Band, which I was very unco at first, but soon got the hang of it. Had Iron Maiden stuck in my head ever since.
Couple of weeks before that, James and I went to Cranbourne. A friend made a gorgeous coffee and we watched The Perfect Penis. Very cool documentary, but just so creepy the lengths *cough* people will go to to make themselves feel good. What they don’t realise is how much they change on the outside, will not change who they are on the inside.
Also caught up with Julia with James a month or so ago which was always fun.
Feels weird not having anything that I have to do at the moment. I’m not used to this thing called relaxation. I’ve started working on my first journal article that I want to submit to an Anthropology journal. I’ve got the topic I want to work with, just not sure what my question or thesis should be. Is much different making up your own. Anyone who’s reading this and has any feedback regarding this, please let me know
